Jason Bain

Jason Bain is the head coach for the TigerSharks.
As a youngster, Jason swam for the Cordova Blue Marlins Recreation Swim Team and holds a few records in relays there. He also swam for Cordova High School for four years. After high school he moved on to Humboldt State University where he coached a masters swim team, returning during the summer to coach the Cordova Blue Marlins. After leaving Humboldt he returned to Sacramento for good, and continued coaching the Blue Marlins. He then took on three years of coaching at Del Campo High School, and moved on to to coach for Bella Vista High School for four years.

His success rate with both high schools has been good, as both teams placed third in the league while Jason was on board. Jason has had many students go on to swim for various colleges and universities as well. He estimates that there have been about 15 kids that have taken swimming to college. One of those students is assistant coach Katie Wronn. This is Jason's tenth season with the TigerSharks, and he truly enjoys working with all of our kids. Jason is very excited about the team this year and his main goal is to have fun, and help the kids develop a love for the sport of swimming.
